Our Approach
We work with internal and external communities to put together events and relevant
workshops that can help you to deal with the real-life challenges you face when growing your
business.
Examples include our Future of Health Care event for Bristol Tech Festival and the Data and AI
workshop with academics, funders and businesses in collaboration with the Turing Institute.
Our advisor sessions focus on practical advice covering areas such EIS (Enterprise Investment
Scheme), how to engage academics in R&D, and Q&As on funding opportunities and support
networks.
"The facilities are exactly what small, growing companies need. We have utilised lots of business support that is on offer at Future Space, ranging from innovation support for our Research and Development, through to support with how to navigate the recent changes in GDPR regulation. A big draw is being able to network with the other businesses based at Future Space on a regular basis."

"The innovation support has helped us in various ways, they've been able to introduce us to investors, supported us with legal clinics, but they are also there just to sanity check our ideas. It's been really useful to get an outsiders perspective on our ideas, and work together with our fellow Innovators at Future Space."

“Bristol is a fantastic area to start a business. There is so much support and being linked with UWE Bristol has been extremely beneficial. As well as funding, we have also had intern support funded by the University to help develop our software, and the Launch Space programme was invaluable.”
