The South West is fast emerging as a focal point for Agri-tech innovation.

Local startups, SMEs, farmers, growers, innovators and academics are pioneering new and sustainable approaches to food production, farming and land use. With Agri-tech identified as an important sector in the region’s growth strategy, this Agritech Cluster Meet-Up provides a platform to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and explore practical solutions to the challenges facing the sector.

This meeting will be hosted at Green Heart Farm and will include an introduction to our hosts, Stratofi, a collaborative “Pitch Your Problem” session, updates on future investor activity and a tour of the farm.

About the Agritech Cluster:

This is an informal business-led group developed in partnership between Future Space Bristol and University West of England.

We aim to:

• Support innovation and growth in the agritech sector through research, development and creating opportunities for investment
• Build collaboration between farmers, growers, SMEs, academics, investors and government
• Create a community of like-minded professionals working agritech
• Facilitate partnerships, knowledge exchange and the sharing of best practice
• Provide opportunities to test and implement new agritech technologies and new ideas in real-world settings

Who Should Attend?

This forum is open to SMEs, startups, farmers, growers and land-based businesses in South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. We also welcome representatives from academic institutions, Agri-tech research centres, government, investment organisations, farming intermediaries and industries contributing to the wider Agri-tech ecosystem.
