Geovate 2018

February 16, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

In a world faced with many environmental challenges, how can we collaborate using location data, technology and design thinking to: Build Greener, Smarter Communities and Cities?

This will be explored at Geovate 2018, a conference hosted by Geovation, Ordnance Survey’s innovation initiative and London Hub.

We’re inviting thought leaders, social entrepreneurs, policy makers and change makers from public, private, academic and third sectors, to think globally, act locally and scale sustainably through the connecting power of location information.

Our world is facing climate change, population growth and limits to resources. Building resilient, sustainable communities and cities means moving to an economy where best use is made of natural and human-made assets and waste is treated as a resource. It also means: Enabling sustainable living; Improving health and wellbeing; Supporting the local economy and Enhancing the natural environment

At Geovate 2018 we have invited keynote speakers and thought-leaders to take a global, city, business and community perspective on how these four themes can be addressed.
