The Future of Health Care (Bristol Tech Festival)
October 11, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 2:30 pm
Join our health care cluster to discuss what healthcare will look like in 2040 and what trends shape new technology-enabled models of care.
Location: Future Space
Time: 11am – 2.30pm
This free event is part of Bristol Tech Festival, hosted by Future Space in partnership with WEAHSN and Engine Shed.
Our expectations for health care are rapidly changing, aided by the dominance of the pandemic over the last few years. We have seen the acceleration of technological solutions and adoption of new practices with a greater acceptance of telehealth, wearables and remote patient monitoring that might not have been possible before.
While we still have a long way to go, there are new ways for patients to procure and manage their health outside of traditional medical establishments and medical intervention moves from cure and prevention to predictive management.
Health care is an industry that is in prime position for improvement and transformation. We will meet pioneering businesses working on local innovations. We will explore how technological advances will change the way we approach health care in the future.
