The power of the mission: how we can apply the lessons of the pandemic to make the UK a global life sciences superpower

September 8, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The UK pioneered one of the most successful COVID-19 vaccination strategies anywhere in the world, immunising nearly every eligible UK adult in under six months. This incredible achievement was the result of close collaboration between government, NHS, regulators and industry, but also by driving towards a clear common goal.

Through mission-led policy making we have a unique opportunity to reset, be bold and operate differently. As the UK’s looks to set a new course for healthcare, we have a golden opportunity to harness key lessons from the pandemic to help tackle the big health challenges of today and the future challenges of tomorrow.
