Kam Pooni, CEO of Glyconics, will share his experience of growing and commercialising a HealthTech venture.

Kam Pooni is a seasoned professional with a unique background of 20 years in starting up, managing and growing Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology businesses. Kam is the CEO of Glyconics and has held Senior Commercial positions in Astellas Pharma Europe, Thomson Reuters and Eli Lily.

Glyconics is developing a range of miniaturised Infrared (IR) devices for use at a point of care to diagnose and monitor chronic diseases. They are an experienced life sciences and technological team in launching healthtech businesses.

Kam is an experienced and proven mentor, helping entrepreneurs to achieve success from startup to scaling up business growth. Kam is a mentor at Cambridge University Judge Business School, a mentor at Imperial College Mentoring Service and a NIHR AI Award Panel member.

He will be talking to the HealthTech entrepreneur ecosystem across the UK about commercialising your HealthTech business and the importance of Market Access. Specifically, he will focus on navigating the NHS of which he has first-hand experience from a commercial perspective.
