We held the launch event here at Future Space in February and the event series centring around smart cities is coming to a close.

All day event packed with the UK's most influential female entrepreneurs, business leaders and brightest start ups that will be giving you detailed and practical insight to grow your business.

Event will be informative, provocative, awareness-raising, innovative, community-focused & will help build an inclusive scale-up ecosystem.

Tony Hayward, chairman of Glencore, will deliver a lecture as part of the Bristol Distinguished Address Series entitled "The Great Energy Revolution - Fact or Fiction."  

Bristol Hackspace is a social enterprise which aims to open up technology to anybody who takes an interest in it. We want to ‘open’ technology both in the sense of taking things.   

Richard Gleave, deputy chief executive and chief operating officer of Public Health England will deliver a lecture as part of the Bristol Distinguished Address Series entitled "Evidence informed leadership - how does evidence influence the leadership of health organisations?".  

Join Data Science Festival Bristol in partnership with Just Eat this month for three great presentations from speakers including Dr Ram Mohan: Machine learning for Efficient food delivery. Venue details are provided on booking.

This workshop uses a non-threatening approach to share ideas and strategies to build confidence in public speaking. The focus will be on enabling students to change their attitude and approach to delivering presentations. You will not be required to give a presentation in this workshop.

70 years of modern planning: Back to the future? This event will look at planning in the context of modern and future working practices, health and wellbeing, the economy, transport systems and law.  

The Meetup will feature two or three short talks about topics relevant to the IoT followed by networking.

A series of short presentations will be followed by tea, cakes and an opportunity to network with others interested in science communication in the Bristol area.
