The Turing Institute is the national institute for Data Science & AI. UWE has been successful in securing one of the 24 prestigious Turing Institute Network Development Awards. It focusses on working with universities and the Turing Institute to get more value from existing networks and grow new opportunities.

The programme is focussed towards building an academic network across UWE so that local communities & businesses can access AI & Data Science innovation to solve problems. This network will also offer training & upskilling to businesses with the ultimate goal of solidifying our position as an impactful contributor within the AI & Data Science research, innovation & academic community.

Future Space will be hosting a workshop as part of this funded programme, which will aim to connect SMEs with academics in the areas of AI & Data Science.

Are you are working with data analytics and artificial intelligence? Are you looking for academic partners and access to funding to help you solve a specific industry challenge? The Turing Institute, UWE and Innovate UK, are running this workshop with leading academics in robotics, machine vision, data analytics and bio sensing. They are inviting 30 businesses from the region with an interest in exploring new research collaborations.

The aim is to engage businesses in small group discussions which will set out the data and AI challenges in your business applied to specific themes. This is an opportunity to influence and scope research and funding at an earlier stage. This workshop would suit businesses that are ready for funding rather than very early start up.
